Eileen Marie Calvert, 65, of Sylva, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Sylva on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013.
She was born in Miami, Fla., on March 11, 1948. She moved to Sylva in 1998. Eileen owned/operated the Hairport Salon in Cullowhee.
She is survived by her daughter, Lauren Calvert of Sylva; son, Theodore Calvert of Asheville; granddaughter, Jett Calvert of Sylva; brother, John Calpini of Tallahassee, Fla.; sister, Linda Calpini of Chapel Hill; and nieces, a nephew, and several cousins and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Catherine Calpini and Artemio Calpini, of Sylva.
