16th Annual Jubilee

You are invited to the 16h Annual Miami High Stingaree Jubilee and Lunch in the Heartland.  See the Events page for details and then Register online for any events you plan to attend.  Be sure to book your hotel room early! Change your reservations if needed.                                              

Thursday Night for early arrivals January 29, 2026, Dinner at Cowpokes Watering Hole at 6 PM (Email Charlie Kemner at RKemner@aol.com for more information and reservation) We will be in the same room as last year. Let them know you are from Miami High.

Friday afternoon January 30, 2026: 11th Annual MHS Stingaree Golf Tournament

Country Club of Sebring located at 4800 Haw Branch Rd. Sebring, FL 33872. Phone number 863 382 3500. Club Pro JJ will be putting us down for three (3) tee times starting at 11:00 am Friday January 30, 2026. We can reduce that tee time number as we get closer. The price of playing is $50 + tax for $53.75.

For now, I need to know tentatively if you will be playing. I will be sending out a separate email for golf players from the past. If you have never played before, contact me to be added.

We will be changing our format to stroke play scoring system. Please send me your name, handicap and anyone you wish to play with.

Friday evening January 30, 2026  Athletes, Band, Flaget's and anyone else dinner at Island View Restaurant. It will be at Sun N Lake Golf Club. (Last 5 years location). John White will be hosting the event. Price and menu will be updated as soon as we get it.

PAYMENT must be check or cash. Payment must be made no later January 16, 2026. No additional reservations or refunds after that date - no exceptions. On your check or a piece of paper write down your menu choice(s).

Saturday evening  January 31, 2026, at 6 PM is the mainevent:  "The Stingaree Jubilee"  at The Croix Grand Hotel, 6525 US 27 North Sebring FL (Formerly Quality Inn)  Hospitality Room, featuring a live DJ playing music from our glory days. Cost of Jubilee $39 which includes everything. Send check made out to William Eades. Send to 9301 SW 41 Terrace, Miami, Florida 33165.

Sunday morning February 1, 2026:  Before heading home, make plans to have breakfast or brunch with your friends and classmates.

Plus, we will have a B.Y.O.B. Hospitality Room, courtesy of our host hotel and Alumni Host Bruno Diaz, which will be open except during events. The Jubilee has something for everyone, please make your reservations as soon as possible.  

If you are bringing guests, please include their information when you register.  The registration information is needed for our internal head count and will be kept confidential.

Be sure to mention you are with the Miami High group to get the discounted rates at hotels.  Other Miami High groups will also be staying at our hotels that weekend so do not delay in making your reservations & If traveling via a motorhome and need information on accommodations, contact Allen "Henry" Carr, class of `52 at henrycarr5299@comcast.net or call (305) 271-1134; he will be glad to help you.
