Obituary For Susan Gagnon Wilson

Susan Gagnon Wilson, 71, of Arden passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at the Elizabeth House.  She was the daughter of the late Oscar and Helen Coffey Gagnon.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Peter Wilson III; and her twin sister, Carol Gilliland.

Susan worked in retail all her life, recently retiring from Marshalls.  Previously, she worked many years at Ivey’s, retiring only to raise her daughter.  She loved researching genealogy to preserve the legacy of her family and enjoyed spending time with beloved dog “Sophie”.

Surviving to cherish her memory is a daughter, Helen Wilson and her fiancé; sister, Michele Riddle and husband, Howard of Hendersonville; and brother-in-law, Herb Gilliland. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and their children and grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date.
