Comments:

I am a '68 MHS alumnus. I wish to register as a guest. I was a 10th grader when the class of '66 were seniors. I was a member of the MHS Band, Orchestra, Pep Band, etc. and track team (11th-12th grades - Discus & Shot Put). Many '66 grads were friends. The Class of '66 was a great class that set a good example to the Juniors and Sophomores ('67 & '68). Member of Junior Exchange CLub (X-Club).

Family was MHS: Dad, '37, brother, '61, sister, '65, twin brother '68 & me.
Graduate of The Citadel, Charleston, S.C. 1972
Graduate of Columbia Biblical Seminary, Columbia, S.C. 1984 (M.Div.)
Retired USAF Officer (Major) - 38 years service (1970-2010)
Full-time minister, Salem Presbyterian Church (PCA), Blair, S.C. (1984-Present)

Four grown children & 11 grandchildren. Thank you...
Rev. Richard B. Hodges (Major, USAF-Ret.)

School Story:

Member of the Concert Band, Marching Band, Orchestra, Pep Band, Stage Band, etc. Henry Cochran, '66, was a friend and mentor to me. He was first trombonist, I was third in '65-'66 school year. I am thankful for his friendship and guidance. He was a much loved and respected leader in what was likely the finest high school band in the land. An excellent trombonist! He invited me to play a trombone duet with him one Sunday morning at a large Baptist church in Miami. We played, "Heaven Came Down and Glory Filled my Soul". In all humility, it rocked! Thanks, Henry for your kind friendship, leadership, and guidance. Much appreciated, Richard, '68-MHS Band
